Cultivating Mindfulness and Loving Kindness
A Silent Meditation Retreat
Guiding teacher: Paige Cogger
March 1 – 4, 2018
Alton L. Collins Retreat Center
Eagle Creek, Oregon
This intimate retreat for all experience level practitioners will be devoted to our shared practice of spacious, open awareness. Within the sacred container of noble silence, our retreat schedule will include dharma talks, sharing in the circle, yoga, and one-on-one meetings with the teacher, as well as generous personal time for rest, walking on the land and simply being with your self.
Guided and silent sitting, walking and movement meditation will support relaxed presence. Traditional practices of forgiveness and loving-kindness meditation invite recognition of the beautiful qualities of our true nature. This retreat, limited to 18 attendees, is offered for anyone and with all levels of experience.
DANA: This retreat is offered in the ancient tradition of Dana (Generosity): Paige offers the teachings as her practice of Dana. Retreatants will have an opportunity to practice Dana with a contribution of support for the ongoing work of the teacher.
